System Description
The USDIN 509 device is the product that guarantees the ap- propriate solution to what is required by the CEI 0-21 standard, which provides: for installations between 6 and 100 kW where external interface protection is envisaged, an auxiliary power supply system capable of supporting for at least 5 seconds the SPI device (external interface system), the DDI (contactor/swi- tch between the public distribution network and the system) and the Recharge Switch, if any (for powers >= 20 kW).
The required energy storage is stored on board capacitors so the system does not involve batteries and their subsequent replacement due to exhaustion of charging cycles (usually one year), thus decreasing environmental pollution and eli- minating routine maintenance.
After a discharge phase upon return of power, the device is ready in less than 15 seconds for new use, and in addition, installation on board the AC switchboard is facilitated by the modular housing and small size.
ARMS technology the heart of the system
Microprocessor in ARMS technology manages and regulates the operation of the new USDIN 509, ensuring constant con- trol of all vital parameters, which are sampled, tested and cor- rected through ARMS.
